In today's scientific fish farming, many fish farmers use pond aerators without scientificity, which directly affects the use of aerators. The rational use of aerators can effectively increase the amount of dissolved oxygen in the pond water, accelerate the circulation of pond water, eliminate harmful substances, and promote the reproduction of plankton. At the same time, it can prevent and reduce fish floating, prevent flooding and improve the water quality of ponds, increase fish food intake and increase yield per unit area. So here are some things to pay attention to when using the aerator correctly.
1. How to determine the type
Determining the loading load generally considers water depth, area and pool shape. The rectangular tank is preferably the waterwheel type, and the square or circular tank is preferably the impeller type; the impeller type aerator can basically meet the oxygenation needs of 3.8 mu of water surface adult fish ponds per kilowatt of power. more than one aerator.
2. Installation location
The aerator should be installed in the center of the pond or in an upwind position. Generally, it is more than 5 m away from the pond embankment, and is fixed by inserting rods or anchoring. When installing the impeller aerator, it should be ensured that the water flow generated by the aerator during operation will not stir up the sludge at the bottom of the pool. In addition, pay attention to safe use of electricity during installation, take protective measures for safe use, and check and maintain frequently.
3. Start-up and runtime
The aerator must be operated under safe conditions, and combined with the stocking density of fish in the pond, the growing season, the water quality conditions of the pond, weather changes, and the working principle, main function, aerobic performance, and oxygenation of the aerator Factors such as machine load are used to determine the running time, so that it works without wasting [5]. To correctly grasp the boot time, it is necessary to achieve "six open and three no open". That is, "six-open": 1) turn on in the afternoon when it is sunny; 2) turn on the next morning when it is cloudy; 3) turn on in the middle of the night when it is rainy; 4) turn on in the middle of the night when it rains heavily; 5) turn on in time when the temperature difference is large[7] ;6) Turn on at any time under special circumstances. "Three off": 1) Do not turn on after sunrise in the morning; 2) Do not turn on in the evening; 3) Do not turn on during the day on cloudy and rainy days.
In the event of sudden changes in weather or fish floating heads due to water and fat fish, the power-on time can be flexibly controlled to prevent floating heads or flooding.
4. Regular maintenance
In order to work safely, the aerator must be regularly overhauled. The motor, gear box, impeller, and float should be overhauled. The junction box that has been eroded by water should be replaced in time. At the same time, the overhauled parts should be placed in a ventilated and dry place, and then installed as a complete machine when necessary.
